The Board of Directors of the Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority (SPGA) has confidently re-appointed Allen Cedras as Chief Executive for a second term, effective August 14, 2025, extending his leadership for an additional three years.
This decision reflects thorough consultation with the Minister for Agriculture, Climate Change and Environment and the President of the Republic, adhering to Section 75 (1) of the Public Enterprises Act, 2023. First appointed on August 16, 2022, MrCedras brings over two decades of robust experience in conservation, project management, and ocean governance. During his inaugural term, he successfully instituted strategic reforms and operational modernisation that have significantly enhanced the authority’s capacity, solidifying Seychelles’ position as a regional leader in conservation efforts.
Among his most impactful achievements has been the design and implementation of a sustainable financing mechanism that secures the authority’s long-term operations.
